The visuals are improved from the demo. The game has a charming and unique cartoon style and the interface is amazing. This game’s strong suit is most definitely its lifelike characters and world. The towns and detailed characters make the game interesting to play. All but a few controls are comfortable. The game makes up for its short gameplay with many endings, details, and dialogue. I got 2 of the wide variety of endings.
Some things I did not enjoy were that some of the bosses felt throwaway and unforgettable. Some of the bosses are difficult due to throwing you in without any easing. I also think that The Eyestalk could have been more incorporated into the main game.
Overall, I rate The Eyestalk Reincarnated a 79%, and I recommend giving it a try.
Thanks for the feedback! I get some of my bosses are a bit hard to deal with and some feel like throw aways but thats actually intended because of the story and its lore. For the easing that brings you into battle I get that. I feel it would be better if the bosses have a little time before they start attack/moving so that it eases in better. As for the Eyestalk he is gonna be more in the second game. As for why thats just a lore reason why he only appears once in the normal game. Please let me know if you have any other feedback!
Yes there are multiple endings in the version I released, 10 actually. So the game would most likely become a series if you wanted to get all the endings
